Cyclist dies after being hit by car in Port Melbourne

A cyclist has died after being hit by a car in Port Melbourne.

The collision happened on Plummer Street at around 8pm last night.

The car didn’t stop at the scene, but the driver later came forward to police.

They remain in custody, and no charges have been laid.
