Cyclist suffers serious injuries as police investigate hit and run

Victoria Police has released CCTV footage in the hope of finding a vehicle allegedly involved in a Northcote hit and run.

A cyclist was allegedly hit by a car on the corner of High Street and Darebin Road at around 7pm on July 31, with the cyclist sustaining serious leg and head injuries.

Police say the driver of Toyota sedan fled the scene after briefly stopping.
