Cyndi Lauper in Melbourne ahead of the Australian premiere of Kinky Boots the Musical

Tony award winning composer Cyndi Lauper has given the tick of approval to the Melbourne cast – ahead of the Australian premiere of ‘Kinky Boots the Musical’.

Lauper sat through the show last night, also attended by Molly Meldrum, applauding the energy of the performance at Her Majesty’s theatre.

The feel good show has been a Broadway and West End sensation, with its story of an unlikely friendship between two blokes called Lola and Charlie.
