Have we just met the oldest dog in the world?

Dairy dog Maggie, of Woolsthorpe, could possibly be as old as 30, according to her owner.

Brian McLaren told Ross and John his youngest son Liam hadn’t started school when the kelpie pup arrived at their property in Victoria’s west.

He’s now 34.

And while she’s been ‘retired’ from farm duties for several years now, Mr McLaren said the beloved pooch was ‘doing great’.

‘But she’s deaf as a post,’ he quipped.
