Dame Julia Cleverdon’s been named as one of the 50 most influential women in the UK but she tells Neil Mitchell she’s reluctant to take the title.

She’s got a direct line to Prince Charles, helping to run Prince’s Charities.

In an enlightening interview on 3AW Mornings, Dame Cleverdon touched on a number of different topics.

One that’s close to her heart is how businesses can be more philanthropic.

‘I think the real issue for business now in Australia as well as in the UK, they are in a glass bowl,’ she said.

‘How business involves itself, behaves, how business recruits, trades, invests is absolutely critical to society.’
