Tom Elliott lifts lid on ‘extraordinary’ conversation with senior legal official

Tom Elliott has revealed what a senior legal official told him about the “failings” of the justice system in Victoria.

The 3AW Mornings host stated the official couldn’t come on the program out of fear of losing their job, but implored listeners to trust the things he had to relay at the start of his program.

“It was extraordinary stuff and that’s only the tip of the iceberg,” Elliott said.

“This person had some very, very strong opinions on the failings of our justice system in this state.

“It was a damning indictment of our legal system, our justice system, our courts system.”

Retired police detective, Charlie Bezzina, then also highlighted the “major issues” plaguing the justice system in Victoria.

“We’ve just gone woke, and it’s just bloody unbelievable,” Bezzina told Tom Elliott.
