Dan Houston details Carlton interest before joining Collingwood

Collingwood’s new recruit Dan Houston has opened up on the interest he had from other clubs, including rivals Carlton

The two-time All Australian revealed that he had “open conversations” with Carlton coach Michael Voss throughout the trade period.

“I wanted to play for him and he (Voss) wanted me in the team,” Houston said on Wide World of Sports.

“Most of the reports have been pretty accurate.”
