Dangerous flaw in taxi driver fatigue system uncovered

3AW Mornings has uncovered a flaw in the taxi system that is aimed at preventing driver fatigue.

The system automatically logs off drivers after 12 hours, however, it appears they can simply just log back on and keep driving.

Simon Purssey from 13 CABS told Neil Mitchell an incident on Monday night, where a driver passed out twice and the passenger took over, highlighted the issue.
