Daniel Wells suffers another injury setback, battling to be fit for Round 1

Collingwood recruit Daniel Wells has suffered another injury setback and is highly unlikely to play Round 1, says Mitch Cleary.

The Sportsday newsbreaker said the former North Melbourne star ‘hobbled off’ the ground during a scratch match this week after a knock to his calf.

‘He’s only been completing 70 to 75 per cent of the pre-season to date,’ Cleary explained on 3AW Drive.

‘As it sits, he won’t be playing Round 1.’
