David Jones blames ‘teething issues’ for wedding and gift registry crash

Some wedding and gift registry lists at department store David Jones may have been lost after “teething issues” with its new online registry service.

Rumour File contributor Wedding Crasher told 3AW Breakfast yesterday the retail giant was in the process of an online system upgrade which caused the wedding and gift registries system to crash, and some lists disappeared.

In a statement, the company said staff were working with customers.

“David Jones has recently undergone improvements to its online gift registry service,” the statement read.

“We have a dedicated team of gift registry experts assisting our customers on an individual basis as we work through some teething issues.

“We thank customers for their patience as we continue to improve our service.”
