Dead body found inside Preston home

A friend has made a grisly discovery, finding his friend’s body in a pool of blood inside a home in Melbourne’s north.

The 35-year-old man was found with significant injuries at the back bungalow of a property on Wood Street, Preston.

It’s believed a friend made the discovery about 7pm last night.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Five cannabis plants were also seized at the property.

Police say the exact circumstances of the death are yet to be determined.
