‘Dead or alive’: Sly on the death of Dezi Freeman

John Silvester AKA Sly of the Underworld, has broken down the monumental police operation undertaken to locate cop killer Dezi Freeman.

Appearing on 3AW Breakfast this morning, Sly revealed the Special Operations Group shot Freeman dozens of times.

“They’d been up there for days, they’d surveilled the place. They knew exactly what they were going to do,” Silvester said.

It remains unclear if the operation’s success was a result of a tip off or if the $1 million reward will be paid out.
