Could eating cane toads and horses help the environment?

Euan Ritchie, ecologist at Deakin University spoke with Tom Elliot.

He says Australians should consider eating kangaroos and camels opposed to sheep and cows.

He says if it caught on, it could potentially help the environment.

Euan suggested we could look at further consuming some of the following:

  • Kangaroo
  • Camels
  • Sheep
  • Deer
  • Emu
  • European Carp
  • Cane Toad!?
  • Horses

The list goes on…

But how could you possibly convince people to eat some of these things.

Euan says it’s all about Education.
