An amusing segment on 3AW Drive this afternoon with Tom Elliott attempting to decipher the language and certain words younger people use in the modern day.

The 3AW Drive host was joined by the Chair of Linguistics at Monash University Professor, Kate Burridge, as well as young 21-year old Drive producer, Breanna Edebohls, to understand certain words.

Words and phrases such as ick, slay, lit, no cap and eshay were discussed and it’s fair to say the age gap between guests was evident!
