On October 17, a caller on the Rumour File said the vacancy of the Secretary of the Department Transport and Planning will be filled by a high profile public servant.

And now the rumour has come to fruition after two months, with former Covid and Commonwealth Games boss Jeroen Weimar officially appointed to the role.
