Multiple callers on the 3AW talkback line have voiced their frustrations on the state of V/Line, and the complications they face on a near daily basis commuting from the country.

It comes after signal faults impacted both the Geelong and Ballarat lines this morning, with no communication to commuters and nothing on the website.

“It’s absolutely deplorable,” caller Sarah said on 3AW Drive.

3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate had some strong comments on the state of V/Line to start her program, labelling it a “third world service”.

“It is shamefully archaic,” she said.
