Why Deputy Mayor voted against kangaroo cull

The Deputy Mayor of the Mount Alexander Shire Matthew Driscoll has explained this afternoon that the Shire conducted a vote lobbying State Government to ban commercial kangaroo shooting.

The overpopulation of kangaroos has been a wide spread issue across Victoria for quite some time.

“The Kangaroo’s aren’t an issue for me, but they are for others…” Matthew Driscoll explained to Heidi Murphy.
