Deputy Premier grilled by Tom Elliott over decision to scrap Commonwealth Games
Victoria’s deputy premier has hit back at suggestions Melbourne and Victoria’s reputation as the sporting capital of the world has been damaged by the government’s decision to abandon hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Jacinta Allan, who was also the Minister for Commonwealth Games Delivery, was grilled about the decision by Tom Elliott on Tuesday.
