Derryn Hinch to be farewelled at state funeral today

A state funeral to honour the life of Derryn Hinch will be held at 12pm today.

The Australian broadcasting legend and former 3AW host died peacefully in his sleep on July 10.

3AW will cross to coverage of the service throughout Afternoons with Tony Moclair.
