Diamond Creek man charged with murder of teen Patrick Cronin
A 33-year-old Diamond Creek man has been charged with murder following an alleged coward punch which left teen Patrick Cronin with fatal injuries.
The family of the 19-year-old say they are ‘heartbroken’ after turning off his life support machine on Monday.
Andrew William Lee, 33, has been charged with one count of murder after handing himself into police.
He’s has been remanded in custody and will reappear in court in September.
Cronin, 19, suffered a critical head injury in the fight outside a pub at Diamond Creek on Saturday night while trying to help out a friend.
Up to 30 people are believed to have been in the brawl.
