Dick Smith’s population warning for Australia

Entrepreneur Dick Smith has warned Australia’s population will be more than 100 million by the end of the century, should the country’s immigration rate return to pre-pandemic levels.

He has told Tom Elliott 30 million should be where the country “tops out” on population.

“The billionaires are the only people who benefit,” Mr Smith said.

“They just constantly push for growth, because the greed is unlimited.”
