‘Direct attack’: What the new land tax will mean for mums and dads
A senior tax policy manager at CPA Australia has called the new state budget a “direct attack on mum and dad property investors”.
Elinor Kasapidis said parents worked hard for their future and are now being punished for the decisions made by the state government.
“They’re in shock and they will be passing it on and that’s going to make rental affordability even harder and we have a crisis at the moment,” Ms Kasapidis told Neil Mitchell.
