Jacqui Felgate has launched a strong editorial after finding out an e-bike rider, who left a 69-year-old man for dead in Hastings in May, was granted bail my a magistrate in court today.

The e-bike rider was allegedly hooning at 80km/h with meth in his system at the time of the crash, and the 3AW Drive host labelled the situation “disgraceful”.

“That is just another really, really important case to share with you to say, our bail system in this state is broken,” Felgate said.
