Robert Farquharson, who was found guilty twice of killing his three sons back in 2005, after driving into a dam, is preparing for a return to court to fight for his freedom, using laws introduced in 2019.

Senior reporter at The Age, Michael Bachelard, says most of the new evidence his lawyer has, is unknown to the media.

“Farquharson’s lawyer doesn’t want enumerate what that is … we know there’s some fresh research, about how cars sink in a dam,” he told Jacqui Felgate.

Press PLAY to hear how the new laws could see Farquharson appeal his sentence
