Disturbing act of animal cruelty has police concerned

A koala has been found dead at Warrnambool with both of its ears cut off.

It’s believed the mutilation was recent but it hasn’t yet been established whether the koala was deceased at the time.

Police have been told there has been a spate of similar acts of animal cruelty involving kangaroos and wallabies.
