Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a thief with a bizarre fascination with figurines and board games.

The offender was seen on CCTV at a game shop on Whitehorse Road in Box Hill on multiple occasions, stealing upwards of $2,000 worth of merchandise.

Press PLAY to find out what police are looking for

Victoria Police Media Officer, Kathryn Muffett, told 3AW Breakfast the man placed items in his jumper, leaving the store without making an effort to pay four times between January and February.

Some of the stolen stock included Jurassic Park, Avengers, Godzilla and Dungeons and Dragons items, with police urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
