Trauma experts say more Victorians are being seriously injured and killed falling from ladders.

Dr Helen Ackland, a senior clinical trauma research fellow at The Alfred Hospital, is calling on people to wear helmets when they climb a ladder.

‘We are calling on the public to just do something as simple as putting a bike helmet on, putting it on properly while they are up a ladder.
