A documentary filmmaker on why he’s no longer against a second safe-injecting room

A documentary filmmaker and psychologist, who was originally against a second safe injecting room, has revealed what led him to changing his mind.

Brian Walsh, says after a close relative developed an addiction to heroin, he realised he didn’t have much understanding of addiction.

“I feel like I’m probably fearful of things I don’t understand, so I decided to be proactive and find out about addictive,” he told Tom Elliott.
