Questions were raised about whether young people in Australia have developed a sense of “job snobbery” and do not want to work in traditionally undesirable or challenging jobs.

Restaurant and Catering Australia national president John Hart told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott that the blame shouldn’t all lie on younger Australians.

Press PLAY to hear Hart explain why he believes younger generations aren’t solely to blame

“We’re setting up generations with great aspirations, but we’re not actually setting up our industries to have the people they need to do the jobs,” he said.
