Dog found riding Frankston train alone reunited with its owner

There’s been a happy ending to an unusual story which emerged last week.
A dog was found riding a Frankston line train alone last Friday morning.
A passenger fashioned a makeshift lead with a scarf to lead it off the train at Flinders Street Station, and the pup was taken to The Lost Dogs’ Home.
Today, some good news — the pooch has been reunited with its owner.
“We’re very pleased to say the dog has now been reunited with its owner, so it’s a nice, happy ending to that story,” Chris Miller from the Department of Transport told Neil Mitchell.
