Quarantine officers in Australia haven’t been able to read the dog’s microchip.

His owner Cat has been told if the issue isn’t resolved by tomorrow, the pooch — named Gusgus — will be sent back to Chile or destroyed.

Cat told Ross and Russel she had Gusgus’ microchip scanned before he left Chile, and she’s even had her vet in Chile send his microchip scanner to Australia, but quarantine officers were unable to read the chip with the device.
