Dog rescued from Burnley Tunnel after bringing traffic to standstill

A dog has been rescued from a major Melbourne tunnel after bringing traffic to a standstill on Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly before 3pm on Tuesday, caller Pat alerted 3AW Drive to the worrying incident, which saw traffic slowed.

We’re glad to report Archie the whippet was taken to the Lost Dog’s Home and will shortly be reunited with his owner.
