‘Dogs need an outlet to burn off extra energy’: Dog fitness coach explains the benefits of his program

K9 fitness coach and owner of Dog Fit Mobile Gym and Spa Damien Browne explained the benefits his fitness program has for dogs.

The goal of Browne’s Dog Fit gym is to reduce the amount of dogs that are handed to rescues and shelters around Melbourne.

“Dogs need an outlet to burn off extra energy,” Browne said on 3AW Mornings.

“They are high energy dogs such as german shepherds and labradors,” Browne on the types of dogs he trains.
