Donald Trump indicted for efforts to overturn 2020 election result

Former US president Donald Trump has been hit with fresh criminal charges.

Trump has been indicted on four counts related to attempts to overturn the 2020 US presidential election.

He is already facing criminal charges in two other cases.

Despite this, public opinion polls indicate he’s the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
