3AW is a proud supporter of Very Special Kids, and it’s that time of year again — the Very Special Kids 24-Hour Treadmill Challenge is on!

Jimmy Bartel loves a challenge and a good cause, so after a stellar effort last year — clocking up 100km on a treadmill — he’s taking on the challenge again this year!

This year, he left 3AW at 6.30am and is walking all over Melbourne ALL day, before finishing up at the MCG for the start of the Melbourne v Carlton clash. It’s all for a great cause – helping provide free holistic palliative care at Victoria’s only children’s hospice.
