She stars in The Meddler with Aussie actress Rose Byrne ( which opens across Australia Thursday May 18). It’s a dramedy about a woman who with a new iPhone, an apartment near the Grove in LA, and a comfortable bank account left to her by her beloved late husband, tries to start over. She deals with grief, loneliness and her endless generosity.

Byrne plays her daughter, who is dealing with her own set of personal issues.

Sarandon has given us some of the most memorable movies of all time. They include Thelma and Louise, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Dead Man Walking.
