‘Double-degree barista’: Parents blamed for tradie shortage

There are suggestions parents are advising their children to attend university instead of becoming tradies.

Chief executive officer at the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce, Geoff Gwilym, says he agrees with the suggestion.

“I believe that Australia is responsible for delivering the double-degree barista,” he told Tom Elliott.
