Australia’s leading child psychologist has offered some tips to parents unsure how to deal with their child getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Dr Michael Carr-Gregg said there was no doubt many children would be apprehensive about getting a needle.

He started by saying it was important the child knew why they were getting vaccinated, and the impact that decision could have on their own health and the health of those they love.
