Dr Peter Larkins with some bad news on Travis Cloke after Jack Ziebell bump
Leigh Matthews expects Jack Ziebell to be in MRP strife over a hit on Travis Cloke that Dr Peter Parkins says could keep the Western Bulldogs forward on the sidelines for more than a month.
Cloke was taken to hospital after he was floored by Ziebell.
?Dr Larkins said Cloke had suffered ‘significant damage’ to his ribs.
‘It’s not unusual with this injury to go from anything from four to eight weeks,’ the leading sports medico said on 3AW Football.
The Bulldogs have since confirmed Cloke will miss four-to-six weeks.
Matthews said the North Melbourne captain was in trouble, given the severity of Cloke’s injury.
‘I would be surprised if he doesn’t get a week or two,’ Matthew said.
