Drama surrounds crash on Western Ring Road, near West Gate Bridge

UPDATE: Three men have been arrested following a violent car-jacking just moments after a crash at Laverton North on Thursday.

Police believe the men deliberately crashed a stolen car into a truck on the Western Ring Road at 6.30am, so they could steal the Nissan Skyline of a man who stopped to help. 

They threatened to stab the owner of the skyline James.

A 25-year-old St Albans man and two 20-year-olds, from Keilor Downs and Melbourne, are being questioned by police.

The stolen car was found in Sunshine West and has been seized for forensic testing.
