Dramatic taxi carjacking and crash occurs in the CBD overnight

Police have arrested a 36-year-old man man after he crashed a taxi which was allegedly stolen during a carjacking in Melbourne’s CBD last night.

The taxi was travelling on Elizabeth Street when the man allegedly threatened the taxi driver around 9.40pm, and then more chaos ensued.
