Drink-driver crashes brother’s Mercedes into cement mixer, also sick on himself
An alleged drink-driver has crashed his brother’s $100,000 Mercedes into a cement mixer in the CBD.
Police said they attended the scene of a minor smash at the intersection of Franklin and Elizabeth streets just after 1am on Friday morning.
A Parkville man, 24, had struck a cement mixer operating in a works zone.
Nobody was hurt, however the driver was found by police still in the car and with vomit on himself.
Cement was also splashed across the luxury car, which belonged to the driver’s brother.
The man then returned an alcohol reading of 0.194%.
The vehicle has been impounded and the driver will be charged.
