Drive-by shooting laws under consideration: Sly of the Underworld

The Victorian government is considering introducing new laws to target the shooting of a building.

In New South Wales, the shooting of a building is a specific offence that can be punished with up to 16 years jailtime.

The veteran crime reporter also encouraged Victoria to ban the scrap metal for cash business, after heartless thieves stole bronze war memorial plaques in Footscray.
