Driver clocked at more than 200km an hour while fleeing police in Gippsland
A man has allegedly been clocked at speeds of up to 200 kilometres an hour while fleeing from police east of Melbourne.
Police initially tried to intercept the Ford Falcon at Morwell around 9.10pm last night.
The driver refused to pull over and the airwing clocked the vehicle travelling at speeds of up to 200 kilometres an hour on the Princes Highway at Traralgon.
The driver headed back to Morwell, allegedly ramming a police vehicle before being arrested.
Fortunately no-one was injured.
The 26-year-old Morwell man has been released on bail charged with multiple offences including reckless conduct endangering life.
