Driver trapped after bus crash in Melbourne’s outer-east

Paramedics are assessing about a dozen people after a bus crashed into a tree in Monbulk in Melbourne’s outer-east this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Monbulk Road shortly before 7am.

The driver, a woman aged in her 40s, was trapped for some time.

The air ambulance has been dispatched to the scene.
