Drivers to gain access to real-time petrol price information

The ACCC has secured a big win for consumers on the road.

Drivers will soon have access to the same real-time petrol price information the retailers do, which ACCC Chairman Rod Sims believes will have a downward effect on prices. 

‘We think it’s going to have a big impact,’ Mr Sims told Nick McCallum.

‘It will put downward pressure on petrol prices.’
