Drunk man found passed out on train tracks
There were brief delays on the Hurstbridge train line on Tuesday after a man was found passed out on the tracks – presumably drunk.
A Metro Trains spokesman said the 5.54am Greensborough to Flinders Street train was firstly cancelled due to graffiti.
Then trains were suspended for a brief time after a body was spotted on the tracks.
The man reportedly then got up and staggered away.
The line has since been declared safe.
