Fathers should be able to take their daughters into female public bathrooms, according to Herald Sun opinion columnist Susie O’Brien.

Susie told Tom Elliott it was “unthinkable” to let a girl go into the men’s bathroom.

“I can’t imagine letting my daughter going into the men’s,” Susie said.

“I would want to put the comfort of the child before anyone else.”

A UK father was slammed this week for taking his four-year-old daughter to the ladies’ toilets.

Tom said he’d never felt comfortable taking his young daughter into the female bathrooms.
