Dustin Martin ‘worth every cent’ says Jon Anderson

Dustin Martin is “worth every cent” of the reported deal he’s set to be offered by North Melbourne, says Jon Anderson.

3AW Breakfast’s sports guru told Ross and John the Richmond gun was one of the most damaging midfielders in the AFL.

3AW Football’s Caroline Wilson says the Roos have been given the green light to offer Martin more than $5 million over five seasons.

St Kilda is also set to target Martin with an offer.

“I think he’s worth every cent of that over that period of time,” Ando said on Tuesday.

“He’s extremely durable, Dustin Martin.

“Nobody can tackle him.

“He’s selfless – he’s happy to give the ball off at all times and he gives it off at a speed by foot or hand that’s rare in this competition.

“If you’re picking midfielders purely on hurt factor – Dustin Martin would be in the top three in the competition.”
