Dwayne Russell blasts ‘soulless’ Gold Coast Suns

Dwayne Russell has blasted the Suns as ‘soulless’.

The Suns are in disarray, having lost their first two games and with marquee star Gary Ablett on the way out.

But Dwayne told 3AW Football the problems run deeper than this season.

‘Don’t be fooled – the Gold Coast crisis has been running six years,’ he said.

‘Ablett wanting out didn’t start it, it just compounds and confirms it.

‘The Gold Coast Suns are a soulless, success-less club, that every year over-promises and under-delivers.’

Matthew Lloyd said he’d be ‘shocked’ if Rodney Eade was coaching the Suns next year.
